  • INGREDIENTS

    Pheasant (30%) Onion, Wine (Sulphites), Pheasant Stock (Pheasant Bones, Water, Juniper Berries, Garlic, Black Pepper, Thyme, Bay Leaf), Carrots,  Fortified Wine, Redcurrant Jelly (redcurrants, British sugar, port), Garlic, Apple Balsamic Vinegar (Cider Vinegar, Apple Concentrate, Caramel E150a),  Cornflour, Thyme, Salt,  Orange, Cinnamon, Star Anise, Bay Leaf, Cloves, Rapeseed Oil, Black Pepper.

  • COOKING INSTRUCTIONS

    COOK FROM FROZEN :

    Pre-heat oven to (190°C / 170°C FAN / GAS MARK 5). Remove lid & film. Place existing dish on a baking tray and heat for approximately 45 minutes until piping hot through … please remember not all ovens are created equal!

    To Microwave piece film and heat on full power for 12 minutes, stirring half way through.

    Do not reheat

     

  • SERVE WITH ....

    ..buttered new potatoes and your favourite vegetables. Or garnish with freshly chopped parsley, and accompany with creamy mashed potato or cauliflower or a hearty hunk of baguette. Finish with a crisp green salad or veg and a glass of red.

    Whilst every effort has been made to remove all traces (all our products are hand and home-made) all the game is genuinely wild, so please be aware there is a very small chance that some shot may remain.

    Please do advise of any allergens or intolerances when ordering - your safety is of paramount importance and the juniper berries used in making the stock in this dish have been "packed in a factory that handles nuts (including peanuts), seeds, cereals, soya & products containing gluten". Therefore whilst no nuts,  seeds, soya nor cereals form part of the recipe, and they are not intended to be incorporated within the dish, Glorious Game cannot guarantee that there has been no cross contamination in that factory, though it should be noted that products containing allergens are packed in a separate room to those which do not, and so the risk of cross contamination is very slight.  However, if this is an issue for you, another batch can be made without those juniper berries.
