  • INGREDIENTS

    Pheasant (30%), Black Sheep Ale (Water, Malted Barley, Wheat, Hops)(30%), Organic Butter (Milk, salt), Flour (Wheat, Calcium Carbonate, Iron, Niacin, Thiamin), Pheasant Stock (Water, Pheasant Bones, Carrot, Peppercorns, Juniper Berries, Garlic, Cloves, Thyme, Bay), Onion, Carrots, Water, Apple Balsamic Vinegar (Cider Vinegar, Apple Concentrate, Caramel E150a), Cocoa Powder (cocoa, acidity regulators potassium hydroxide, potassium carbonates), Cornflour, Thyme, Bay Leaf, Salt & Black Pepper, Rapeseed Oil

  • COOKING INSTRUCTIONS

    COOK FROM FROZEN Pre-heat oven (190°C / 170°C FAN / GAS MARK 5). Remove lid & film. Brush with a little beaten egg or milk. Place on baking sheet & heat for approximately 45 minutes until piping hot through – please remember all ovens are not created equal!

    Not suitable for cooking in the microwave.

    Do not reheat.

  • SERVE WITH

    Chips or mash and plenty of green veg...washed down with some of the epnymous ale of course 

  • ALLERGENS - PLEASE NOTE ...

    Please do advise of any allergens or intolerances when ordering - your safety is of paramount importance and the juniper berries used in making the stock in this dish have been "packed in a factory that handles nuts (including peanuts), seeds, cereals, soya & products containing gluten". Therefore whilst no nuts, seeds nor soya form part of the recipe, and they are not intended to be incorporated within the dish, Glorious Game cannot guarantee that there has been no cross contamination in that factory, though it should be noted that products containing allergens are packed in a separate room to those which do not, and so the risk of cross contamination is very slight.  However, if this is an issue for you, another batch can be made without those juniper berries.
