Kitchen Tip #1 : Peeling Garlic

Do you sometimes find garlic can be fiddly to peel? If you struggle too, here's a wee tip to save faffing around with all those annoying little bits of skin which flake away in tiny pieces, or won't budge at all.

Simply soak the cloves in boiling water for a few seconds - softening the skin makes it far easier to remove. Just crush or cut off the end and away you go - job done!
